His research focuses on decision-making processes, reinforcement learning, and computational modeling, using EEG and primary reinforcers like food and pain. He has supervised PhD student Harry Stewardson and MSc student Kerri Margrets-Kelly.
Teaching roles include Module Leader for Evolutionary Psychology (Year 3), lecturer for Cognitive and Biological Psychology (Year 2), and seminar leader for M.Sc. Psychology Lab Skills.
