Thomas Pugh

Dr. Thomas Pugh is a Reader in Biosphere-Atmosphere Exchange at the University of Birmingham, with a dual affiliation at Lund University. His research focuses on interactions between terrestrial ecosystems and climate, utilizing computational models and large-scale data synthesis. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science and a PhD in Environmental Science from Lancaster University.

Research interests include climate-vegetation feedbacks, forest mortality under climate stress, CO2 fertilization effects, and anthropogenic impacts on forest structure.
