Dr. Thomas Petraschka is a non-tenured assistant professor at the University of Regensburg's Institute of German Studies since 2022, with a guest professorship at Saarland University (2023-2024). His research bridges literary theory, aesthetics, and cultural history of empathy (Einfühlung) across 19th-21st century literature.
