Dr. Thomas Nubbemeyer is a Research Fellow in the Attosecond Physics group at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics (MPQ) in Garching, Germany, focusing on ultrafast laser-matter interactions and quantum optical phenomena.
His research spans:
- Attosecond pulse generation and characterization
- Strong-field ionization dynamics
- High-harmonic spectroscopy
- Ultrafast electron dynamics in atoms and molecules
Dr. Nubbemeyer maintains active experimental work in MPQ's laser laboratories, utilizing state-of-the-art Ti:sapphire laser systems operating at petawatt intensities.
