
Thomas Maulucci

Thomas Maulucci is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut, specializing in Modern European History. He has over two decades of teaching experience in the U.S. and Germany, holding a BA in International Relations, Economics, and German from Canisius College and a PhD in Modern European History from Yale University.

His research spans Twentieth-Century Diplomatic and International History, Modern German History, and Film Studies, with particular focus on Soviet Bloc ideology, Cold War diplomacy, and cinematic representations of historical events. Current projects include analyzing DEFA’s Foreign Ministry Films and the Soviet Bloc’s ideological strategies during the Cold War.
