Thomas Lampert

Prof. Thomas Lampert holds the Chair of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Télécom Physique Strasbourg and ICube Laboratory, University of Strasbourg. He is also an Expert at the Council of Europe on AI.

His research specializes in machine learning applications for medical imaging and remote sensing, with focus on computer vision, time-series analysis, and domain adaptation techniques. Current projects include developing constrained clustering methods for satellite imagery and stain-invariant segmentation for histopathology.

Lampert completed his PhD at University of York and has held research positions at multiple international institutions. He maintains strong industry collaborations and leads projects addressing challenges in healthcare informatics and environmental monitoring through advanced computational methods.
