Thomas Lagoarde-Segot is a Professor of Economics and International Finance at KEDGE Business School, where he previously served as Director of Research. He is also an Associate Researcher at LEST, UMR CNRS 731, and coordinates the 'sustainable finance' axis of SDSN France (United Nations) and the Post-Crisis Finance Network with the College of Global Studies of the FMSH (Paris).
Specializing in development financing and ecological transition, particularly in developing countries, his work spans social finance, financial history, and economic philosophy. He has authored numerous scientific publications and the FNEGE-certified book La Finance Solidaire, Un Humanisme Economique (2014).
His recent publications (2023-2024) focus on ecological finance, sustainable monetary systems, and economic diversity. These works explore topics such as endogenous money, greenwashing, complementary currencies, and macroeconomic modeling, reflecting his interdisciplinary approach to sustainable finance.
