Thomas Kneib is Professor for Statistics at the University of Göttingen, serving as Spokesperson of the Centre for Statistics and Deputy spokesperson of the Campus Institute Data Science (CIDAS). He is also a member of the Center for Integrated Breeding Research.
His research focuses on statistical methodologies with applications in interdisciplinary domains, particularly data science frameworks and quantitative approaches for breeding research. This work bridges theoretical statistics with real-world data challenges across scientific fields.
