Thomas Kekenbosch is a Lecturer (ATER) in economics and environmental studies at École Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS Lyon) and a Research Fellow at the Center for Economic Research on Governance, Inequality and Conflict (CERGIC) since September 2024. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris.
His research focuses on environmental economic policies in France during the 1970s, examining the emergence of environmental statistics and quantification tools, the integration of environmental concerns into French planning systems, and their implications for the development of environmental economics as a discipline.
