Thomas Keenan serves as a Part-Time Lecturer in Manufacturing Engineering at the University of St. Thomas' School of Engineering. A retired industrial statistician from Medtronic, Inc., he brings over 35 years of experience in quality engineering, reliability, and Six Sigma methodologies to his teaching.
He holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Statistics from the University of Minnesota and is certified by ASQ as a Quality Engineer, Reliability Engineer, and Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
Keenan's expertise lies in applying statistical methods to manufacturing quality, including statistical process control, design of experiments, and reliability assurance. His courses, such as ENGR 371 and ETLS 701, focus on practical industrial applications for students in engineering programs.
