Thomas Hewes is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director for the BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Sciences at Swansea University. He joined the university in 2015 after a career in the Welsh Ambulance Service, including roles as a registered paramedic, Team Leader of the Hazardous Area Response Team, and a clinical practitioner with advanced qualifications in adult education and clinical practice. His academic leadership includes curriculum development and teaching excellence, recognized by an Excellence in Learning and Teaching award and Higher Education Fellowship.
