Thomas Degn is an Associate Professor in Industrial Design at the Umeå Institute of Design (UID), part of Umeå University, Sweden. He holds a Master of Arts in Advanced Product Design and directs the MFA programme in Advanced Product Design. His career includes applied research collaborations with the Volvo Group through the Safe and Efficient Transports (SET) programme, focusing on commercial transport solutions.
