معرفی
Thomas K. DeLillo is a Professor of Mathematics and Interim Chair of the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Physics at Wichita State University. He holds a PhD from the Courant Institute, NYU (1985). His research focuses on numerical and theoretical studies of conformal maps, computational methods for inverse problems in acoustics and gravimetry, and quantum field theory. He has developed novel methods using fast Fourier analysis for conformal mapping in multiply connected domains and extended the Schwarz-Christoffel formula to such domains. His work includes applications in fluid dynamics, noise source localization in vehicles, and mathematical physics. He teaches advanced courses in fluid dynamics, optimization, and theoretical physics, and has advised numerous PhD students. DeLillo is also a managing editor of the Electronic Transactions on Numerical Analysis (ETNA). His research bridges computational mathematics, theoretical physics, and engineering applications.
