Thomas Conte serves as the Associate Dean for Research in the College of Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds dual professorships in the Schools of Computer Science and Electrical & Computer Engineering, with a research focus on advancing computer architecture and compiler optimization in post-Moore computing paradigms.
His career includes leadership roles such as founding director of the Center for Research into Novel Computing Hierarchies (CRNCH) and significant contributions to redefining computing through the IEEE Rebooting Computing Initiative. Dr. Conte is recognized as an IEEE Fellow for his impactful work in computer architecture.
