Thomas Cobb serves as Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Legal Practice program at the University of Connecticut School of Law, overseeing the first-year lawyering skills curriculum.

Professor Cobb co-edited the Journal of Legal Education and served five years as associate editor for Legal Communication & Rhetoric: Journal of the Association of Legal Writing Directors, significantly contributing to legal writing scholarship. He previously directed legal research and writing programs at University of Washington School of Law (16 years) and Mitchell Hamline School of Law (5 years), and taught U.S. evidence law at Université Jean Moulin, Lyon III.
As Director of Legal Practice, Cobb leads UConn Law's foundational skills curriculum development and implementation, directing faculty and shaping pedagogical approaches for incoming law students.
