Dr. Thomas Cauthorn is an Assistant Professor at the University of Mannheim's Business School, Chair of Financial Markets and Financial Institutions, since August 2025. Previously, he served as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Kassel's Chair of Sustainable Finance. He holds a Dr. rer. pol. in Finance from the University of Kassel, supervised by Prof. Dr. Christian Klein, alongside an M.S. in Business from Kassel and a B.A. in History from the University of Oregon.
