Thomas Brocker

Thomas Brocker is a Professor and Group Leader at the Institute for Immunology of Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he also serves as Director. His research focuses on lymphocyte interactions and immune system dynamics.

Dr. Brocker’s work explores the mechanisms underlying lymphocyte activation, differentiation, and their roles in health and disease. His lab investigates immunological processes with potential implications for cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases.

He supervises a team of current doctoral researchers and has mentored numerous former lab members, including doctoral researchers and MD students. These advisees contribute to advancing understanding of immunological mechanisms through collaborative projects.
