Thierry Verdier

Thierry Verdier is an Associate Professor of Economics at PUC-Rio (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro) and a Research Fellow at the Center of Economic Policy Research (CEPR) in London. He has held significant academic roles including Director of Studies (cumulant) at the School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (EHESS) and co-director of the International Trade program at CEPR (2001-2007). His research spans interdisciplinary domains such as globalization, political economy, economic sociology, and cultural evolution.
