Thierry Terme is a Lecturer at Aix-Marseille University's Faculty of Pharmacy and a member of the Radical Pharmacochemistry (PCR) Team, where he teaches Organic Chemistry and Pharmacochemistry for the First Year Common to Health Studies (PACES/PASS) and the pharmaceutical curriculum.
His research centers on developing novel synthetic methodologies through single-electron transfer reactions (SRN1, TDAE) to design pharmacologically active molecules targeting infectious diseases and cancer. This work integrates organic synthesis with medicinal chemistry to address critical gaps in anti-infective and oncology drug discovery.
Within the Radical Pharmacochemistry (PCR) Team, Dr. Terme contributes to collaborative research on radical-based chemical tools for pharmaceutical innovation, emphasizing practical applications in therapeutic development.
