Thierry Suchere is a Senior Lecturer in Economic Sciences (CNU05) at the University Institute of Technology of Le Havre, part of the University of Le Havre. He serves as the Responsible for the professional license in 'human resources' with a specialization in remuneration and employment. Suchere is a permanent member of the EDEHN Economic Research Laboratory (EA 7263), contributing to the institution's research activities in economic sciences.
His research focuses on two primary areas: economic anthropology and the sociology of play, with particular attention to deciphering how financial markets operate; and the history of economic thought, especially examining the debate surrounding the place of work in contemporary societies. Suchere has also appeared on France Culture, indicating public engagement with his expertise.
