معرفی
Dr. Thibaud Denneulin is a Researcher at the Ernst Ruska-Centre for Microscopy and Spectroscopy with Electrons (ER-C) in the Physics of Nanoscale Systems department (ER-C-1) at the Peter Grünberg Institute, Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany. His work focuses on advanced magnetic imaging techniques for nanoscale spin textures, with particular expertise in Lorentz Transmission Electron Microscopy (LTEM).
Research Interests:
Denneulin investigates magnetic skyrmions—whirl-like spin textures with potential applications in low-power storage and logic devices. His research spans:
- Néel-type skyrmion bubbles in Pt/Co/NiFe multilayers
- Type-I/II bubbles in Fe5GeTe2 van der Waals materials
- Bloch-type skyrmions in FeGe single crystals
- Three-dimensional spin texture analysis
- Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction effects
Funding:
He contributes to the EU Horizon 2020 project "3D MAGIC" (Grant 856538), focusing on advanced magnetic imaging methodologies.
Affiliations:
As a 2022 visitor to the Ernst Ruska-Centre, he collaborates with the electron microscopy and spectroscopy teams on skyrmion dynamics and characterization.
