Theresa Long is an Associate Professor and serves as Assistant Director of the School of Nursing and Director of the MSN - APRN Program at Regent University. She holds a DNP from the University of Virginia, an MSN from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a bachelor’s in Environmental Health from Rutgers University. Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), her expertise spans clinical practice, nursing education, and diabetes management. With 18 years of teaching experience and 20 years in family practice on Virginia’s Eastern Shore, her work integrates clinical care and academic leadership.
