Theresa L. Harm is an Assistant Professor at Widener University, affiliated with programs in Accounting, Management, and Business Administration. She holds a Doctorate in Finance (DPS) from Pace University (2024), an MBA from Widener University (2013), an MS in Organizational Leadership from Neumann University (2004), and a CPCU in Insurance. She is a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania since 2015.
Her research focuses on Credit Risk Transfer products issued by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, analyzing their liquidity, returns, and marketability during high-interest periods. She teaches courses in Accounting SAP Technology, Management Accounting, Fraud Investigation, and Business fundamentals at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Prior to academia, she served as CFO of a business unit, overseeing financial strategy, cash flow management, and SAP system transitions. Her career spans over two decades in finance and insurance, including roles in legacy accounting system modernization. She volunteers with the National SIDS organization and local youth sports leagues.
