Theodoros Papadopoulos

Dr. Theodoros Papadopoulos is an Associate Professor in Physics at the University of Chester, affiliated with the School of Natural Sciences and the Faculty of Science, Business and Enterprise. He holds a PhD in computational condensed matter physics from Lancaster University (UK) and has conducted postdoctoral research at leading institutions including the University of Bath (UK), Georgia Institute of Technology (USA), and the University of Liège (Belgium). His research focuses on computational modeling of electronic and optical properties of materials, with applications in organic optoelectronics and molecular electronics. Key areas include charge transfer at interfaces, surface physics of metal oxides, and exciton/charge transport in conjugated materials.
