Theodoros Foukakis

Theodoros Foukakis serves as Associate Professor and Senior Physician at Karolinska Institutet's Department of Oncology-Pathology in Stockholm, Sweden. He leads the Translational Breast Cancer Research Group, a multidisciplinary team comprising clinicians, bioinformaticians, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, AI engineers, and molecular biologists. His research focuses on understanding treatment resistance mechanisms in breast cancer through molecular analyses of tumor tissue and blood samples, with the goal of developing new predictive biomarkers for treatment response.
