Theodore Rokkas

Theodore Rokkas is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology at European University Cyprus's School of Medicine. He holds an MD from the University of Athens, a PhD from the University of London, and an Associate Professorship from the University of Thessaly.

His research specializes in Helicobacter pylori infections, gastric cancer epidemiology, and inflammatory bowel disease diagnostics. Recent meta-analyses focus on biomarkers for colorectal cancer and eradication strategies for H. pylori in Southern Europe.

He has received research awards from the European Society of Gastroenterology (1986) and United European Gastroenterology Week (1992). Leadership roles include presidencies in the European Helicobacter and Microbiota Study Group and Hellenic Society of Gastroenterology.
