Theo Turpin is a Researcher in Fine Art at the School of Design and Creative Arts. His practice centers on installations exploring language, narrative, and romance in idealized spaces.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from Camberwell College of Arts (2008)
- Master's in Fine Art from Goldsmiths College (2017)
Research & Residencies:
Turpin completed residencies at Palais De Tokyo (2012–2013), the Embassy of Foreign Artists (Geneva, 2015–2016), and ICA Moscow's summer school. His work engages interdisciplinary themes intersecting visual art, literature, and cultural theory.
Exhibitions:
Featured prominently in Palais De Tokyo, Manifesta 13, Bienale D’Anglet, and venues in Berlin and London including DKUK, Auto Italia, and Bold Tendencies.
Publications:
Published in Beaux Arts, Palais, and Twin magazines. His debut book Into the Night (Atlas Projectos) collates short stories blending art and narrative.

Guided by Dr Ahren Warner and Professor Craig Richardson.
