Thar Baker Shamsa

Thar Baker Shamsa is Professor of Industry 4.0/5.0 and Associate Dean (Research and Knowledge Exchange) at the School of Architecture, Technology and Engineering, University of Brighton. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, with extensive leadership in academic governance, research evaluation, and international collaboration.

He leads a dynamic research team focused on IoT, edge AI, and blockchain for Industry 4.0, with active projects in smart factories, intelligent transportation, and secure SDN solutions.
