Thang Ho is an Assistant Professor in Finance and Accounting at the University of Bradford School of Management, where he joined in October 2022. His academic journey includes a PhD in Finance and a Master's degree in Advanced Financial Analysis, both from Lancaster University.
His educational background includes:

Dr. Ho's research focuses on empirical asset pricing, institutional investors, sustainable finance, climate finance, portfolio management, mutual fund and hedge fund performance, and option pricing. His work explores the performance of hedge funds in the cross-section, the effect of political risk on option pricing, and the impact of ESG disclosures on financial markets. His research has been presented at major international conferences including the Asian Finance Association Conference and Australasian Finance and Banking Conference.
His publications appear in leading finance journals such as Review of Asset Pricing Studies and Journal of Empirical Finance. His research demonstrates a strong focus on the intersection of traditional finance concepts with emerging sustainable investment practices.
Dr. Ho is an Advance HE Fellow and has passed all three levels of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) examination consecutively on his first attempts between 2014-2016.
He teaches courses in Financial Reporting Analysis, Quantitative Methods in Finance, Portfolio Management, Equity Investment, and Corporate Finance, bringing his research expertise into the classroom. Dr. Ho welcomes potential PhD students interested in asset pricing or corporate finance research.
