Tessa Tibben is an Associate Professor and Director of Didactic Education in the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Arizona. She holds a DHSc, MSPAS, and PA-C credentials. Her roles include overseeing didactic coursework such as History & Physical Exam series and Introduction to Patient Assessment. Clinically, she works at Circle the City, a FQHC providing integrated care for homeless populations in Maricopa County. Dr. Tibben has also participated in medical missions in Lebanon, Kenya, and Egypt.

Her research interests focus on medical education innovation, family medicine, and healthcare access for vulnerable populations. She has led clinical education initiatives, developed community partner sites, and transitioned from clinical practice to academia to emphasize student mentorship.
