Dr. Teruni Lamberg is a Professor of Elementary Mathematics Education and Program Coordinator for multiple graduate programs at the University of Nevada, Reno's College of Education and Human Development. With over 20 years of experience, she specializes in mathematics education reform, focusing on classroom practices, teacher development, and systemic change.
- Education: Ph.D. and M.A. in Mathematics Education from Arizona State University, B.A. in Elementary Education from University of Texas at Austin, and postdoctoral training at Vanderbilt University.
Research Focus: Dr. Lamberg’s work examines mathematics teaching practices, formative assessment implementation, and leadership frameworks to sustain educational innovation. Her research spans K-12 settings, emphasizing equity, cognitive development, and interdisciplinary STEM integration.
