Terry Haines is a Professor at Monash University's Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, affiliated with the School of Primary and Allied Health Care. He specializes in geriatric care, infection control, and healthcare policy, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals. His research focuses on falls prevention, medication safety, dementia rehabilitation, and telehealth innovation.
Key projects include the OPTICS study on infection prevention in aged care, the EMBRACE trial on medication reduction, and expanding hearing programs for elderly Australians.
