Terry-Ann Craigie is an Associate Professor of Economics at Smith College and an Economics Fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law. She has held visiting roles at the Data Science Initiative, Population Studies and Training Center (PSTC), Urban Institute, University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Princeton University as a postdoctoral research associate.
- Research interests: Mass incarceration, criminal justice reform, race and gender discrimination, family formation, and child wellbeing.
- Her work examines social and economic inequities affecting vulnerable populations, with current projects focusing on collateral consequences of incarceration and criminal justice reform.
- Supported by the Annie E. Casey Foundation and published in journals like Oxford Development Studies, Review of Black Political Economy, and Journal of Ethnicity in Criminal Justice.
