Dr. Terri Grant is a Senior Lecturer and Course Lead for the MSc (Pre-registration) Occupational Therapy program at the University of Worcester's School of Health and Wellbeing, Department of Allied Health. She transitioned from the NHS in 2014 to academia, initially as a Senior Lecturer before becoming Principal Lecturer. Her career spans neurology specialization in NHS stroke rehabilitation and clinical leadership.

Research Interests: Focuses on practice learning in occupational therapy education, simulation-based training, and disabled students' placement experiences. Explores mental/physical health benefits of diving and martial arts (Haidong Gumdo). Presented research nationally and internationally, including in Australia (2023).
Awards:
- 2022 Royal College of Occupational Therapists Early Researcher Award
Teaching & Leadership: Develops innovative teaching methods like game-based learning. Leads modules across BSc and MSc programs. Spearheaded the University's Allied Health Practice Education team.
Labs/Teams: Member of the Health Professions Education and Practice research group. Collaborates on interdisciplinary teams including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech therapists.
