Terre Satterfield is a Professor of Culture, Risk and the Environment at the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability (IRES) within the Faculty of Science at the University of British Columbia. Her research bridges environmental and cultural values, Indigenous resource management, and social-ecological systems to examine how technological interventions, conservation programs, and climate change impact communities.

Her recent work explores marine carbon dioxide removal, cultural ecosystem services, agri-food futures, and Indigenous environmental ontologies.
