Terrasa Ulm is a Professor of Practice at Clark University’s Becker School of Design & Technology, specializing in emergent media, game development, and interactive art. They hold an MFA from Lesley University, a graduate degree in interactive programming from Parsons School of Design (The New School), and a computer science background from Smith College. Ulm is a pioneering figure in serious games, experimental media, and AI-driven interactive experiences.
Research focuses on games for social impact, AI’s role in new media, and extended reality (XR) applications. Notable works include Waiting for Obols, an AI-driven interactive play, and Boehm Porcelain, a VR cultural heritage project. Their art explores themes of human-machine interaction, narrative design, and community-driven creativity.
