Dr. Teresa Sabourin is a Professor of Communication at the University of Cincinnati, where she has served since 1984. She previously held leadership roles as Graduate Director (1992-2002) and Department Head (2002-2011). Her research focuses on family communication, particularly domestic violence, homelessness, and recovery processes. She earned her Ph.D. in Communication from Purdue University (1986), and earlier degrees from Cleveland State University.
