Teresa Merrells is an Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics at Mount Royal University. She holds a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Calgary, alongside an MA and BA (With Distinction) in Linguistics from the same institution, and an Honours Diploma in Computer Technology from SAIT. Her research focuses on phonology, phonological acquisition, and language learnability.
