Teresa Leyk

Teresa Leyk serves as an Instructional Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Texas A&M University, part of the College of Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Australian National University (1998) and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Warsaw (1979).

Her research focuses on scientific computations, including numerical methods for solving ordinary and partial differential equations (ODEs/PDEs). She has been recognized for teaching excellence, including the Undergraduate Faculty Teaching Excellence Award (2012 and 2007) and finalist status for the Student Led Award for Teaching Excellence (2009).
