Dr. Teresa Foley is Teaching Professor of Distinction and Director of Undergraduate Studies in Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado Boulder. She teaches courses in immunology, endocrinology, and pathophysiology while overseeing the undergraduate academic program.
Education includes a BA/MS in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology from CU Boulder and a PhD in Neuroscience from Case Western Reserve University. Research examines neuroplastic changes following exercise, central fatigue mechanisms, and stress physiology. Publications demonstrate expertise in exercise-induced neuroadaptations and behavioral responses to physical activity.
Honors include multiple Chancellor's Awards for STEM Education Excellence and the Boulder Faculty Assembly's Teaching Excellence Award. Her work bridges neurophysiological mechanisms with practical applications in health science education.
