Teresa Conde is a postdoctoral researcher at the BIREP group within the University of Bielefeld's mathematics department. She previously held postdoctoral positions at the University of Stuttgart and completed her PhD at the University of Oxford with master's and bachelor's degrees from the University of Coimbra.
Her research focuses on representation theory, homological algebra, quasi-hereditary algebras, Ringel duality, and rank functions. Conde has made significant contributions to the understanding of Borel subalgebras and category-theoretic approaches to module theory.
Her recent publications demonstrate continued productivity in algebraic structures, with works appearing in Journal für die reine und angewandte Mathematik, Advances in Mathematics, and Journal of Algebra. Research trends show consistent focus on decomposition theories and categorical methods in representation theory.
Teaching experience includes serving as tutor and assistant professor at multiple institutions, including Algebra I instruction at Bielefeld and advanced mathematics courses at Stuttgart and Oxford.
