Terence Tao is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He has held the James and Carol Collins Chair in Mathematics and is affiliated with prestigious institutions including the Royal Society, the Australian Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Sciences, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Research Interests: His work spans harmonic analysis, partial differential equations, combinatorics, and number theory. These fields reflect his contributions to both theoretical and applied mathematics, often bridging diverse areas of mathematical inquiry.
