Terence McIntosh is an Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina, specializing in early modern German history with a focus on social, political, religious, and economic dynamics. His research examines Lutheran church discipline, the German Enlightenment, and confessional controversies in 17th-18th century Germany. He holds a PhD in Economics from Yale University (1989), preceded by an MA (1983) and MPhil (1984), also from Yale.
