Tekin DOĞAN is a Lecturer at the Department of Musicology within the State Conservatory of Adıyaman University, where he has been employed since 2018. Previously, he held academic positions at Gaziantep University (2001-2018) and Kilis 7 December University (2002-2018). He began his career as a music teacher at the Ministry of National Education (1999-2001).
His educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Music Teaching from İnönü University's Faculty of Education (1995-1999) and a Master's degree from Cumhuriyet University's Faculty of Fine Arts.
Research Interests: DOĞAN specializes in interdisciplinary music studies with emphases on:
- Pedagogical methodologies for solfege, violin, and music technology
- Socio-cultural analysis of musical preferences and instrument selection
- Organology and acoustic properties of instruments
- Evolution and impact of Turkish popular music
- Digital transformation in music education frameworks
Publications: His recent articles focus on technology-mediated music pedagogy and sociocultural determinants of instrument choice, employing mixed-methods research across educational and psychological domains. Works demonstrate consistent emphasis on demographic variables and digital competency development.
Projects: Served as researcher for infrastructure development initiative: "Establishing a Music Research and Sound Recording Studio" (2019-2021).
Professional Activities: Actively participates in national concert performances alongside academic duties.
