Tek Maraseni

Prof. Tek Maraseni is a Professor of Environmental Science and Management at the University of Southern Queensland's Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Systems. With over 230 publications and expertise in carbon accounting, climate policy, and sustainable resource management, he has led projects across 15 countries. Awards include Senior International Scientist (Chinese Academy of Sciences) and US State Department Climate Change Fellow.

Research focuses on environmental governance, carbon markets, and climate resilience. Key areas include REDD+ initiatives, ecosystem services, and sustainable agriculture.
