Ted Teo is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School, focusing on banking, financial technology, and their intersections. He teaches courses such as Bank Management, Transaction Banking, and Banks and Non-Traditional Financial Intermediaries. With over 20 years of industry experience, Ted held senior leadership roles at Citigroup, Capital Asia Partners, and is currently Singapore Chief Representative of East West Bank.
Academically, Ted holds a BSc in Physics from NUS and an MBA from Columbia Business School. His research explores strategic applications of technology in finance and banking dynamics. Professional certifications include programs in Sustainable Finance (Erasmus University), Web 3.0 in Financial Services (NUS), and Design Thinking for Innovation (NUS).
He is a full member of the Singapore Fund Directors Association and has held adjunct roles at NUS Business School since 2017, transitioning from Adjunct Senior Lecturer (2017–2020) to his current position.
