Tea Golja

Tea Golja is a Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Tourism, University of Primorska, located in Pula, Croatia. She is affiliated with the Department of Management and holds a PhD (2010), a master's degree (2008), and a bachelor's degree (2005). Her research focuses on sustainable tourism, corporate social responsibility (CSR) in tourism, destination management, cultural tourism, and tourism policy. She teaches courses such as 'Sustainable Development of Tourist Destinations' and 'Strategic Management in Culture and Tourism.'

Her work emphasizes collaboration between stakeholders, including hotels, destination management organizations (DMOs), and local communities, to enhance tourism experiences and resilience. Recent studies explore high-end sustainable tourism frameworks, luxury hospitality in Croatia, and post-pandemic innovations like philotherapy tourism. She consults Thursdays 4–5 PM in office 11.

Her articles highlight CSR in tourism, digital initiatives in museums, and crisis management during the pandemic. She advocates for quality education in tourism and integrates technology to improve tourist experiences, particularly in scattered hotel networks in Istria.
