Dr. Tayo Obafemi-Ajayi is an Associate Professor and holder of the Mace/Turblex Professorship in Engineering at Missouri State University's College of Natural and Applied Sciences. He leads the Cooperative Engineering Program and focuses on interdisciplinary research at the intersection of bioinformatics, machine learning, and STEM education equity. His work spans computational intelligence applications in healthcare, clinical data standardization, and ethical AI frameworks.
Education: PhD in Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology (2010).
