Tawab Hlimi is an Associate Professor at the School of Architecture Planning and Landscape (SAPL) at the University of Calgary. He is a landscape architect specializing in environmental issues, social justice, and urban systems. His work challenges traditional boundaries of landscape architecture by integrating social justice concerns and political dynamics. He mentors students to critically engage with oppressive systems through design and education.
