معرفی
Tatiana Moiseeva is a Senior Researcher at Tallinn University of Technology's Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology. Her research focuses on DNA replication initiation mechanisms in human cells, with implications for cancer therapy and drug development. She holds a Ph.D. from the Institute of Cytology RAS (2010) and has conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Pittsburgh (2013–2019).
Education: B.Sc. (2005), M.Sc. (2007), Ph.D. (2010) from St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University and Institute of Cytology RAS.
Research Interests: Molecular mechanisms of DNA replication initiation, genome stability, cancer biology, and proteasome regulation. Her work bridges basic science and applied research, aiming to develop therapies targeting cancer proliferation.
Awards: Includes Tallinn University of Technology's Best Research Article (2022), EMGS Emerging Scientist Award (2018), and multiple grants for proteasome research. She has supervised numerous students and developed courses like 'Genome Stability and Cancer' at TalTech. Invited talks include presentations at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center (2023) and international conferences on DNA replication.
Grants & Projects: Principal investigator of the Estonian Research Council-funded project 'Molecular Mechanisms of DNA Replication Initiation in Human Cells' (2022–2024). Editorial roles include Frontiers in Genetics (Guest Editor) and NAR Molecular Medicine (Editorial Board).
Labs/Teams: Active in TalTech's biotechnology and molecular biology research groups, focusing on cancer-associated DNA replication variants and TIMELESS protein roles.
